Jennifer joined the Evergreen staff in October of 2019 and currently serves as the Kids Director, where she brings a passion for helping children encounter God’s Word in meaningful ways. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from John Brown University. Jennifer and her husband, Sean, have been married since 2004 and have three amazing children. She has always felt called to serve others, with a background in international and domestic adoption and family counseling. After several years at home raising and homeschooling her kids, she found herself ministering to people in unexpected places—even while working part time measuring fences. Around that same time, her love for teaching Sunday School confirmed God’s call on her life to step into ministry. Jennifer is happiest wherever her family is and especially loves watching baseball (Go Cubs Go!), spending time outdoors, reading, crocheting, and taking walks in the evening.
