Roger joined the Evergreen staff in 2024 and serves as the Pastor to Adults, bringing over 43 years of ministry experience to the role. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in Religious Education with a Theology emphasis from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Roger sensed a call to ministry in college and has since served in a wide range of roles—including student and college pastor, mission pastor, lead pastor, and director of missions working with over 40 churches. He’s also volunteered as a chaplain in schools, hospitals, and with first responders. Roger and his wife, Pam, have been married since 1980. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren. When he’s not pouring into the lives of others, Roger enjoys traveling with Pam (especially on mission trips), fixing things around the house, and soaking in time with family.
